Tenison Park brings you classic golf with two championship public 18 hole golf courses, Tenison Highlands and Tenison Glen, less than 10 minutes from downtown Dallas.
Tenison Highlands is one of the most popular golf courses in Texas. Redesigned in 2001 by PGA Tour professional D. A. Weibring and architect Steve Wolfard, the Highlands now has five beautiful lakes, 32 sand bunkers, tiff-eagle greens, and 419 Bermuda fairways to go along with its elevation changes and groves of hardwood trees. Each hole was designed to fit the natural terrain and provide a challenge to all levels of players. Aggressive play will sometimes lead to disappointment, but consistent shot making is always rewarded.
The course is a par 72 and plays to 7,078 yards from the Diamond tees, 6,610 yards from the gold tees, and 5,930 yards from the men's silver tees, The ladies silver tees play to 5,905 yards from the silver tees and 4,883 yaerds from the pearl tees.
Water comes into play on the par 5 - 3rd hole, the par 5 - 6th hole, the par 4 - 7th hole, the par 4 - 8th hole and the par 3 - 13th hole. Survive the water on the front 9 and you should stay dry for the round.

Pretty good shape for the course. The greens were spotty, but due to the cold wet winter, not unexpected.

Loved the course layout. The greens and fairways need more grass. I think by late May or early June the course will probably be in better condition. On April 28th the greens were bumpy and inconsistent while the fairways were thin to bare in several areas. Don't get me wrong. I still thoroughly enjoyed the course.

I love this course. It is long but has some shorter holes for short knockers like me. You will use all your clubs and wish you had more. The greens are great and the course is awesome. Very friendly and helpful staff. I play this course as often as I can.
